I am bad at blogging.
I used to be good at it. You can check out actual proof over
at A Call to Write. But that was when I sat at a desk in front of a computer
all day and sometimes needed downtime. I still need the downtime, but now it
comes more in the form of trying to trick my kid into watching PBS Kids while I
ie on the couch and try to catch a little shut-eye. (…am I a bad mom?).
Anyway. This was supposed to be The Year of Blogging, and we
are halfway through it and I have barely posted anything. I wrote a bunch of
stuff at the beginning of the year that didn’t get posted for one reason or
another (a lot of it was just first drafts of things that needed editing), and
now I find myself with a whole host of new things to vent, or advise, or simply
talk about. Suffice it to say, I still have next to no idea what I’m doing, but
I’m still trying my best while mostly making it up as I go.
For now, I’m going to update a bit. I’ve posted some things I
wrote back in the beginning of the year when I started this thing, and hope
that I can start to keep up with things for a change. We’ll see…
